I'm Damon Garr, a literary writer deeply invested in the psychology of ordinary people navigating moral ambiguity, emotional disconnection, and the lingering impact of the past.
I studied creative writing as an undergraduate at the Metropolitan State College of Denver, where my work won awards in the college’s writing contest and appeared in the student publication Metrosphere.
I earned an MFA from Colorado State University's Creative Writing Program and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
I live outside Pittsburgh with my wife and children.
BARNES COUNTY is my first novel.
