I studied creative writing as an undergraduate at the Metropolitan State College of Denver, where my work won awards in the college’s writing contest and appeared in the student publication Metrosphere.

 

I earned an MFA from Colorado State University's Creative Writing Program and an MBA from the University of Colorado.

I've spent twenty years working in the titanium industry.

 

I live outside Pittsburgh with my wife and three children.
